News From The Dragon ~

Hello all Si-Dai and Si-Mui (Junior Kung Fu Brothers and Sisters),

ANNOUNCEMENT 1:

Some of you older ones know how this meetup, my training, my teaching of others, and the Dragon Wing Chun Kung Fu School has grown.

This meetup was founded May 7, 2015. Since that time, I have met less than 10 people from this meetup, and I have removed at least 50 of the oldest members who I have never met, never RSVP, or contacted me. I always leave them my phone number and email but they were really not interested in Wing Chun.

We have 50 members now, and 5 of the oldest I have met. All the rest I do not know.

The success of the Dragon Wing Chun Kung Fu School at the Grapevine REC center and my own efforts with my website and Google, have proved much more rewarding than this meetup.

There will be a time when I am ready to shut down this meetup.

I will continue to send out "News From The Dragon" to all the email addresses I have from anybody. Anyone who wishes to stay on my mailing list should send me their email address ASAP so that I will have it when the time comes.

For the time being this meetup will stay in use and I will send out "News From The Dragon" from this meetup.

ANNOUNCEMENT 2:

l'm very excited about the next 2 weeks.

The school is doing great. We have 9 registered at the Grapevine REC center, 3 full time, and 2 more may register soon.

I also have 3 private students and 4 who want to eventually come back.

I'm going to the semi annual Wing Chun, JKD, and Kali instructor camp next week for 5 days and nights. That means I will need the senior students to lead the Tue evening class.

Next next Sat, April 29th, is the last day of the last quarter of the school curriculum and the belt ranking test day for our 3 most senior students attending class.

Afterwards we will meetup at the park for an hour of training and then down to the martial arts store.

I've talked to Tan Hwa to make sure she is open on that day.

After that, we'll go next door to Roots where I'll treat the students to roots burgers.

Every 9 months we have this celebration and outting for the end of the school curriculum and the beginning the new one.

Everyone is welcome.

So come out to meet us and Wing Chun.
